The DJ Palena U/15 Div 4 team coached by Ashlee Hales and Lucy Jordan is a unquie team....this year is the first season of club netball for all the girls.
The girls have a lot of goals this season and every time they achieve one, Lucy promises them chocolates. Their main goal is to learn as much as they can and have fun doing it!
The team trains at McKillop College, Thursday evenings , 6-7pm. They often train for an extra 30 minutes, putting in a little bit of extra effort into improving their skills.
Stepping, passing and the rules of netball are the main things the team has focused on at training this season. The team has put a lot of effort into team work and have tried extra hard to improve on their own positions and are always eager to learn and put into practice new things.
The team has improved dramatically over th season with the guidance of their coacha , as well as Tanya Hawkes.
The highlight for the team so far, would be realising that all the hard work they put into trianing sessions pays off when they win games or go down fighting!
The team is curently positioned 5th in their competion.
